Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland recently had the opportunity to work on an exciting project in Bamburgh, NE69. The task at hand was to install new door systems for a beautiful 6-bedroom Airbnb property. After a series of discussions and consultations with the client, we finalized the plans for the master suite, which involved some top-of-the-line features to enhance both security and convenience. For each of the 6 bedroom doors, we agreed upon the installation of Ultion 3*plus Thumb-turn locks, which provide excellent security measures. Garage door lock failed in Lesbury, Alnwick, Northumberland, NE66 - 7th March 2023

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland were called out to help a client who was selling a house in Lesbury. The client had found that the bottom dead lock for their internal garage door was locked shut and the key would not go in. We attended 20 minutes after his call and assessed the lock problem. We found that the curtain inside the lock was faulty. We changed the mortice lock at the customer’s request and two keys supplied with a further 2 keys cut from our van.

Lock out and Mortice lock change in Amble, Northumberland, NE65 - 31st August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland attended a job today after a lady called us to say she was locked out of her office. On arrival, we got to the property and realised that it was a mortice style lock and a part had broken of the key in the lock. We picked the lock, gained entry and then set about installing a new 5-star British standard Mortice lock.

Trouble locking the front door in Bedlington, Northumberland, NE22 - 30th August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland was called out to a customer in they were having issues in locking their front door. On inspection of the door, we could see the problem, the multi point lock was not engaging with the keeps as the door had dropped. After realignment of the door the problem was still not resolved so further investigation of the lock showed it had been forced shut one to many times and a vital component within the gear box had failed so required a new gearbox. Once the gearbox was replaced the door was back to full health and working like it should do. Front door lock issue for home in Amble, Northumberland, NE65 - 28th August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland was called out by a residential customer who was having an issue with their MPL lock. Once on the scene, I was quickly able to diagnose and after explaining this to the customer she requested that we renew the MPL lock and install new door handles. Gentleman rang me at 11pm. He had held on to my number as I had been to his property previously. He was locked out as his key had snapped in his lock. Lock upgrade in Alnwick, NE66 - 23rd August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland attended a same day call out to upgrade locks for a customer living in Alnwick. The client had wooden patio doors where the locking mechanisms had failed. The best solution was to upgrade the lock for higher security and gave a 1 year warranty on the work. The customer was very pleased and felt her property was alot safer from intruders.

Attempted break ins in Northumberland - 22nd August 2021

Lockforce Locksmiths Northumberland were called to a property after an attempted break in. We attended the same day and assessed the situation. The door lock had been damaged from the outside so we safely gained non destructive entriy to the property and replaced the broken lock with a new rim cylinder lock and also fitted a code lock.

Back door will not open in Ashington, NE63 – 22nd August 2021

Lockforce Locksmiths Gloucester were called to a property on the outskirts of Gloucester after the owner had been unable to open his rear door for a couple of months. We inspected the UPVC door and with the key spinning we found that the CAM had broken off. We sorted the lock problem and also offer a complimentary door reallignment service. The owner was most pleased with our speedy and efficient service all while being covid compliant

Snapped Key in Blyth NE64 - 21st August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland received a very distressed call from a customer who had snapped their key in the lock. We attended within 15 minutes and retracted the broken easily however, upon inspection the cylinder had failed causing the key to get stuck and snap. Luckily our Lockforce Locksmith had all the parts to replace this 3 star cylinder quickly and efficiently. Customer was relived to be able to enter their home in a flash.

New House New Locks – 20th August 2021 

Lockforce Locksmiths Northumberland were called today by a new property owner who was very security conscious. Upon inspection of all doors and windows and a discussion with the customer, she decided to upgrade all locks and window handles within the property. Lockforce locksmith upgraded all door locks to 3 star Ultions and also new insurance approved window handles. Customer can sleep easy at night now knowing she’s safe in her new home.

Garage door Entry gained - 19th August 2021

I was called to gain entry on to a garage.The Garage had high security padlocks on the reinforced steel door. I attended within 40 minutes. Then entry was gained within 20 minutes of arrival and a new padlock with keys fitted and secure.

Family locked inside home in Northumberland, NE22 - 18th August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland were called to a family barn coversion after the family were locked in. We attended within the hour and was greeted by a very old door with a MPL inside. After gaining entry we determined that the gearbox was broken. We ensured this door was properly secured and the occupants had access to and from the house. The gearbox has been ordered and we are due to reattend to fully ressolve the lock issue later this week. 

Lady locked inside of home in Northumberland, NE64 - 16th August 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland were called out by a lady locked in her house, the key had snapped from the inside on her main door and she could not open the back door. We gained non-destructive entry to the home and set about fixing the issue with the lock. Due to the age and wear and tear we recommended a new gearbox and cylinder which was agreed by the client. We had stock on our van and fitted these there and then. Another happy customer.

Customer phoned our Northumberland locksmith and asked if we could open his antique chest. We arrived to the property and chest was with 2 locks and no keys. We managed to get lock open non destructively and the key was in the box, customer very happy!

Beadnell Lock Replacement, NE67, 6th August 2021

Lock replacement - lady’s lock was not working as it should, so took out the gearbox cleaned it up and replaced with another Anti-snap cylinder. Also cut a further 5 keys as she was letting it out as a holiday cottage.

Morpeth Commercial Locksmith, Morpeth, NE61, 5th August 2021

A mortice lock fitted on a commercial property, as the bailiffs had taken the last one out due to the old tenant. Also applied some anti-viral grip safe tape to increase safety against covid-19 for both staff and customers.

Eviction with another Lockforce franchisee - we gained access by drilling the high security 3 star cylinder, that was replaced by the tenant unbeknown to the landlord. New lock fitted and secured. Garden gate now also has a new lock on, to help preventing further unwanted access.

Old container lock change in Amble, Northumberland, NE65, 30th July 2021

Lockforce Locksmith Northumerland recieved some work from a recommendation. We were called to a site where the owner was hoping to have the lock change on an old office container. He believed too many people had keys and it was about time the lock was changed. Currently the part required is on order and I will reattend next week to complete the lock change. A very happy customer who now feels his container on his site is fully secure. 

Faulty door for flat in Northumberland, Ashington, NE63, 23rd July 2021 

Lockforce Locksmith Northumberland were caled out to help an eldery lady after the main door to her flat was not opening or shutting properly. After a conversation we believed the door may have bee damaged by the fire brigade. We attended the same day and carried out a door allginment and installed a new euro cylinder. This had the door working better however we also ordered a new gearbox mechanism which we fitted the next day.
