Lockforce Locksmith Morpeth recently completed the fitting of a new front door to a property in Morpeth. Originally, we were called to help the home owner after their front door was failing to lock. However, on inspection of the door it was clear that the home owner wanted a fresh change. The door itself was a very old UPVC door which was cracked and poorly painted. We gave the owner some options of new doors and they decided upon a new high security composite door. The door came with 20-year anti-corrosion hardware for the letterbox and handles which they found a good selling point. The works were booked in for the following week. The old door was removed and disposed of, and the new door was professionally fitted alongside a new 3-star Ultion lock. All works completed the same day. The owner was absolutely blown away with their new door and couldn’t thank us enough.

We had previously attended this property in Morpeth to change the locks on both doors (keyed alike suite) after the owners had recently purchased and moved in to the home. The owners called us back to see if we could help provide a new door. The property had a wooden back door which had chew marks from the previous owner’s dog and the door was in poor condition. New locks for high school in Ashington, NE63 - 5th March 2023
Lockforce Locksmith Morpeth received an email enquiry from a local high school that was opening in the Ashington area. They wanted a solution for over 20 internal doors to ensure the safety and security of both the students and staff. We surveyed and measured up the doors at the school and devised an appropriate solution which the school was really happy with. The quote was agreed, and parts ordered. We carried out our work over 3 nights when the school was closed. In total, we installed 17 mortice locks, new door handles and cylinders and some additional padlocks. While on site was also adjusted some of the fire exit doors to ensure proper closure and some extra keys were also cut on site.
Home has multiple door security upgrade in Ashington, NE63 – 28th February 2023
Lockforce Locksmith Morpeth attended a property in Ashington after the client’s French upvc doors had locked shut. We attended within 30 minutes and gained non-destructive entry. The issue had arisen as the top and bottom hooks were not engaged but the latch was. With the door open we knew a replacement mechanism was needed. The part was discontinued however we managed to get the part required on order. We secured the property for the time being and returned in the following days to complete the job. We replaced the faulty mechanism and then also installed a new high security lock and fitted new door handles too. While on site, we also carried out a survey of the other doors on the property and uncovered that the front door required a new gearbox. The client also chose to upgrade the cylinder and handles on their front door to ensure their home was secure as possible. Since completing all work, the client has left a very kind review on CheckaTrade, and they said we were up there with the best locksmiths in the area.

Lockforce Locksmiths Morpeth were called by a customer whose handles and lock were not working properly, so we took out the multi-point lock system to check for the problem. Found the gearbox was not working properly in the UPVC door. We installed a new gearbox and upgraded the lock.
