I was called out to a customer who couldn’t open their front door. After inspecting the lock, I found it had jammed due to a broken gearbox inside. I carefully gained entry without causing any damage and replaced the faulty gearbox with a new genuine one. Once installed, I tested it to ensure smooth operation, and the customer was relieved to have their door working properly again.

I was called out by a customer who was having difficulty turning the key in their door lock, which was becoming increasingly stiff and unreliable. After inspecting the mechanism and confirming wear and tear as the cause, I recommended replacing it with a more user-friendly option. I removed the old lock and fitted a new thumb turn lock, which allows for easier operation from the inside without the need for a key. Once installed, I tested it thoroughly and made sure the customer was happy with how smoothly it operated.
