Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was called out by a Brentwood resident who was locked out their home. A neighbour had a go before I arrived attempted drilling the lock out however they had no success. We arrived and after a few moments we managed to get the door unlocked. Due to neighbour damaging old lock and handles we replaced both like for like.

Gearbox replacement in Brentwood - 21/12/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was called out by a local customer who needed us to help repair one of their own customers front doors. The gearbox was faulty causing the door handle unable to go down. We arrived within 20 minutes and began work immediately. We explained what had happened and repaired the mechanism like for like.

Door alignment and cylinder change - CM13 - 11/12/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a local customer who just moved into their new home and had an issue with their front door. They was unable to close the door properly as it kept catching at the bottom. We realigned the door and also suggested the customer to have their locks changed to be the only ones with keys for their new home. Customer left a great 5* review on google.

Slam shut door entry gain - CM13 - 18/08/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by customer who couldn’t unlock their front door. Luckily they had other access to their home so wasn't an emergency lock out. We arrived to notice the cylinder had become faulty. As it was a high security lock it was not easy to remove the cylinder to help us gain entry however no challenge is too big and not long after we unlocked the door and replaced the faulty cylinder.

New home, new locks - CM14 - 30/06/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a local customer who just moved into their new home. Customer wanted their front door lock and 2 garden door locks changed for peace of mind knowing they are the only owners of keys for their new place. Customer opted for a thumbturn anti snap cylinder for their front door as they were worried, they would leave keys on the internal side. 

New handles and cylinder replacement - CM14 - 29/06/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a customer who broke their front door handle the night before so needed a replacement. When we arrived, we were told it wasn't the first time the handle had been broken so we got to the source of the problem, so the handle doesn't break again. We noticed the door was out of alignment so after replacing the handle we realigned the door so it could close and lock smoother than ever. We also pointed out their front door lock was the incorrect size meaning a criminal would only need 9 seconds to gain entry to their home. Customer wasn't aware of this and therefore had asked us to replace front door lock as well.

Early morning entry gain - CM14 - 07/06/2023

Lockforce Locksmith Brentwood was called out in the early hours of Wednesday to aid a young lady who lost their keys at their work occasion. Customer had said they was let down by numerous locksmiths who all said to stay in a hotel for the night and they'll get to them in the morning. Luckily for the customer they called Lockforce Harlow who came to their rescue. Customer was back in their home in a matter of minutes once we arrived at their flat.

Nuki smart lock installation - CM13 - 12/05/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a customer who wanted their Nuki 3.0 Pro smart lock installed on their door. We previously visited customer to make sure the smart lock was compatible with their door and if any changes would be needed for the smart lock to be compatible. The only thing that we advised was to order new handles for the external. On the day of the installation, we removed old handles and lock and replaced with the Nuki smart lock and external handle. We also spent time connecting the smart lock to customers app and key fob and explained how to use it. 

Lock upgrade - CM4 - 11/04/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a local customer to replace and upgrade their faulty front door lock. Customer originally had a cylinder which wasn't anti snap and so explained why an upgrade would be more beneficial and would make their home much safer. Customer agreed and so we upgraded their front door lock to an Ultion 3* PLUS cylinder.

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was called out by a family who was rushing to leave the house due to a family emergency. They left keys on the inside. We arrived within 30 minutes and got them back in a few minutes later. 

Sainsburys Fire door issue in Brentwood- 02/05/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was called out to a local sainsburys to open a seized fire door near the frozen department. We noticed one of the shootbolts had completed come away from the mechanism. After managing to lift the door slightly to reach the shootbolt, we managed to lift the shootbolt up to open the door. Luckily these doors are due to be replaced in a couple of weeks.

4 window handle installed - Brentwood - 13/04/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by repeat customer to attend their home and replace 4 of their windows handles to have new keys for them. We had previously installed other locks for this customer on their doors and they had now needed windows to be looked at. We arrived on time and began replacing the window handles like for like. 

Front door gearbox replacement - Bretnwood - 10/04/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was called out on a bank holiday to a home to repair their front door. Customer grateful we could come to their aid as it was an emergency. We arrived within 30 minutes and identified the gearbox was faulty. After removal of the broken gearbox we replaced it like for like. Customer left us a lovely 5* review on checkatrade.

3 lock changes and window handle locks - 06/04/2023

Lockforce Locksmith Brentwood was booked in to replace a local customer’s locks on their doors after they had just moved in. Customer wanted us to survey their house and advise ways we could make their home insurance compliant. We advised installing a high security lock on their front door and explained all doors are already insurance compliant but may help reduce insurance costs if they had a higher security graded cylinder in their doors. Customer agreed and was happy to upgrade their locks. Customer also wanted us to look at their window locks as they wasn't given keys to them when moved in. We replaced both window locks in the lounge like for like. Customer very happy with the service they received and booked us in for a further visit.

Door lock repair in Brentwood - 20/03/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in to look at a customer’s front and rear door after they had complained that they weren’t unlocking and locking properly. Customer was worried it would come to a big expense and feared the worse however after taking the lock strip off the door and giving it a good clean we managed to resolve the issues. Customer also asked me to look at one of their door handles as they were loose so a quick trip back to the van and the handles were as good as new.

Nuki smart lock - CM13 - 20/02/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a customer to install a Nuki smart lock to their door. They had already purchased the package which included the keypad, bridge and fob. We arrived at booked time and got to work straight away. We removed the existing cylinder, installed the new cylinder and added the nuki smart lock. Before leaving we made sure customer had downloaded the app and helped calibrate the lock to their smart phone via the phone. We also showed the customer the different features and made sure they was fully aware of everything and happy. Customer couldn't wait to use it properly for the first time.

Front and rear door lock replacements in Brentwood, CM13 - 04/02/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a repeat customer to replace their front and rear door lock for security purposes. We arrived at booked time and got to work straight away. We replaced customers front door with a Ultion 3* plus euro cylinder and the rear with an antisnap cylinder. We also adjusted the door on the rear as it wouldn't close properly. 

Panic bar handle - CM14 - 08/01/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a local Sainsburys to fix a panic bar handle on one of their fire doors. On arrival we noticed the handle had come away from the mechanism. A couple of adjustments were needed to return the handle to the mechanism. Fire door was now able to operate as normal.

Fire door repair - CM14 - 06/01/2023

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by a local Sainsburys to fix a fire door in the yard. Even though it was heaving raining, that didn't stop us from attending this emergency. The latch on the fire door had become faulty. We removed it fixed it then returned it to the door. 

Gearbox replacement in Brentwood - 15/12/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in to repair a customer’s rear door as the latch would not retract when handle was in use. After inspection we knew immediately the gearbox of the mechanism had failed and needed replacing. We removed the old and replaced with a brand new like for like gearbox. We also made some slight adjustments to the keeps which had caused the gearbox to fail in the first place. 

Ultion 3* PLUS installation in Brentwood - 11/12/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in to take a look at a customer’s front door. After analysing the issue we noticed it was the old euro cylinder that was faulty. We offered 2 options for the customer and they opted to go for the higher security option in the Ultion 3* PLUS cylinder as an upgrade. 

Euro cylinder replacement in Brentwood - 05/12/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in to take a look at their front door as mech wasn't fully retracting from the external and also they wanted to replace their lock. We removed the multi point lock and gave it a quick clean before reinstalling it. Mech was now retracting as it should. New lock also installed like for like. Customer so relieved they didn't have to replace their multi point lock especially when it was installed very recently by someone else. Customer left an outstanding review on checkatrade.

Entry gain to an ATM internal door – Brentwood - 11/11/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in to a local supermarket to gain entry to the door for the ATM room. Not your usual job as they have extremely high security locks as you can imagine. After several methods and attempts we gained entry. Once we gained entry, we removed the lock and replaced it for a 3* plus Ultion lock. 

Ultion lock upgrade in Brentwood - 20/10/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was booked in by customer who wanted a lock upgrade from their current lock. They went for the much loved Brisant Ultion lock with a thumbturn. We replaced lock in no time at all.

Euro cylinder replacement and hinge alignment in Brentwood, CM13 - 30/08/2022

Lockforce Locksmiths Brentwood was booked in to a lovely home after being recommended from a previous job. Customer had trouble unlocking and locking their front door as the key kept spinning in the lock. Their front door also got stuck from time to time leaving them unable to open it. We noticed their current cylinder was the incorrect size so we replaced cylinder for the right size and also adjusted the door hinges so the door could move freely when opening and closing. 

Emergency fire door repair - Brentwood - 26/08/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was called out to a local supermarket in order to repair a fire door in the warehouse. We noticed the mechanism had failed however a spare fire door mechanism wasn't available. Their main concern was to secure it temporarily before a replacement was ordered. We also had noticed the brackets to keep mechanism in place were loose as well as the keep at the top for the shoot bolt. Having fixed the brackets and tightened the keep for the shoot bolt we managed to extend the shoot bolt so it can fall into the keep to stay secure. Now the door cannot be forced open manually and is completely secure until a new mechanism has been ordered.

Damaged lock removal and replacement - CM13 - 24/08/2022

Lockforce locksmiths Brentwood was scheduled in to a beautiful home to remove a euro cylinder in their patio door which had the key stuck. After arrival we noticed the door mechanism had failed and the door was sagging. We also noticed the bolt that secures the euro cylinder in place was very short which made the euro cylinder loose in the door. Was very shocked to have discovered the current euro cylinder was only installed a year ago by a different locksmith. Customer was aware of the mechanism issues and in fact had a new door on the way as their current door was more than 40 years old. Until the arrival of their new door their main concern was to be able to lock and unlock their door securely. We removed old lock and replaced for a brand new anti snap euro cylinder with a longer bolt to keep it in place. We also made small adjustments to the alignment of their door at no extra cost.

Lockforce Locksmiths Brentwood had an emergency call out to a betting shop who couldn't gain entrance to both their shutter and main entrance door. Within 30 minutes we arrived at the shop. At first we was aware of just the shutter needing attention as the manager of the previous night took keys home with them but we later discovered the master key to the main entrance door was ineffective. Was happy to gain entrance non destructively to both the shutter and front door. As the front door lock only had one key they requested a full lock change in order to have a set of 5 keys to distribute. After completion of the job the store was able to reopen to the public.
