Door handle comes off in homeowners hand in Exeter EX4 - 26/03/2024

Mrs P found that the handle of her front porch door tended to come off when the door was pulled firmly, meaning that deliveries had to be left outside in the rain.  She needed the handle repaired before an expected fragile delivery.  Nigel of Lockforce Exeter and East Devon attended immediately and supplied, fitted and tested a new door handle which matched the door and worked perfectly.  

Failed front door lock in Exeter EX4  - 11/03/2024

With the front door locked and unable to be opened, Ms S began to panic when her back door also began to fail and called in Exeter locksmith Nigel from Lockforce Exeter and East Devon.  Nigel replaced the back door handles and cleaned and lubricated the lock mechanism, then turned his attention to the front door.  After some gentle persuasion he was able to open the front door, then replaced the complete MPL lock strip, allowing Ms S and her dog easy entry and exit for their walks.  

Post going astray in Dawlish, EX7 - 15/02/2024

After her post box lock broke Ms S found her post going missing.  Locksmith Nigel of Lockforce Exeter and East Devon was able to quickly change the lock and supply new keys, allowing the mail to get through. 

Dogs learn how to open doors, locks needed! Exeter, EX16 - 19/01/2024

Because her large dogs had worked out how to operate her door handles, Mrs N asked for keyed alike thumbturn locks to be fitted to her two patio doors.  Lockforce Exeter and East Devon locksmith Nigel did as requested, and is eagerly awaiting a recall when and if the dogs learn to operate the thumbturns.  

Unable to open patio doors in Cranbrook, EX5 - 04/01/24

When Mr M moved into his newly purchased house he found that one set of patio doors was hard to unlock and the other was locked shut and couldn't be shifted. He called Lockforce Exeter and Nigel was able to open the locked door.  After a discussion Mr M decided to replace all the locks on both patio door sets, with a single key for both rooms.  

All locks changed in Exeter property, EX2 - 12/09/2023

Ms C felt insecure in her home, fearing that an outsider had access to a key without her authority. She asked Lockforce Exeter and East Devon to change all her locks, internal and external, and to key front and back doors with the same key.  Nigel from Lockforce Exeter was able to come the next day and fit new nightlaches, sashlocks and rimlocks all in a morning. 

Bedroom lock fails in Topsham, EX3 - 19/07/23

Having already used Lockforce Exeter and East Devon to gain entry after losing keys Mrs S had no hesitation in calling locksmith Nigel back to assist in accessing a locked spare room.  Nigel was able to get into the locked room and replace the broken lock with a new upgraded unit.  

Broken lock mechanism causes great inconvenience in Exeter, EX2 - 14/07/23

When Ms A went inside her mid terrace house and closed the door behind her she soon found she couldn't get out again! Faced with a long walk around the back whenever she wanted to leave the house she called Exeter locksmith Nigel of Lockforce Exeter and East Devon.  Nigel opened the door and fitted an overnight lock, allowing Ms S to leave her house and secure the door, before returning at a prearranged time to fit a new lock.  

Patio doors can't be locked in Exeter, EX1 - 03/07/23

Mrs M called Lockforce Exeter locksmiths concerned that she was unable to lock her patio doors, leaving her feeling unsafe at night.  Nigel from Lockforce Exeter was able to fit a replacement control box so the doors could be properly secured.  

Serious problem in EX2 holds up waterworks! 06/06/23

The only thing worse than being locked in the lavatory is being locked out.  A collapsed latching mechanism left this lock inoperative from the outside (although if you managed to get in, for example by using your credit card, according to wily pensioner Mrs D, you were able to get out).  Exeter locksmith Lockforce were able to rebuild and test the lock - full functionality was restored!

Locked out of flat on hot afternoon Exeter, EX2 - 31/05/23

When single mum Ms H and her daughter lost their front door key they called on Lockforce Exeter for help.  Within half an hour Exeter locksmith Nigel was on site and soon had them inside out of the sun with a brand new lock and five spare keys to make sure it didn't happen again.

Utility room door difficult to lock in Exeter, EX2 - 03/05/23

When Mr & Mrs T found it difficult to secure their utility room door they requested the services of Lockforce locksmiths Exeter to assess the scale of the problem.  We were able to realign the door and make adjustments to allow the door to lock correctly, no replacement parts necessary.

When Mrs K could not lock her front door she feared the worst and called in Lockforce locksmith Exeter Nigel to fit a new lock.  However, a good clean up and thorough check over left the lock working as good as new, and saw relieved smiles on everyone's faces!

When a pensioner reported his door still locking but not latching Exeter locksmith Nigel made an appointment to attend the next morning.  When he inspected the lock he found an obsolete mechanism that barely worked. He was able to replace the whole mechanism while keeping the price within the pensioners budget, leaving the home with a modern secure lock on the door.  

Uncooperative Nightlatch in EX2 - 11/04/23

Exeter Locksmith Nigel answered an urgent call to EX2 today in appalling conditions of rain and wind.  A family were locked out of their holiday accommodation after their child tried to unlock their front door with a pencil! The broken lead become stuck in the lock preventing it from opening.  Nigel was able to gain entry quickly allowing the family to get out of the weather, then clean out the lock to allow normal operation.  

Locked out of house on a Bank Holiday in Exeter, EX4 - 08/04/23

A family were locked out of their house in Exeter on Bank Holiday Friday. With their grandchild visiting and medication locked inside the house it was becoming urgent.  Despite, or possibly with the help of, the encouragement of passing football fans leaving the football ground after their match, Lockforce Exeter locksmiths were able to gain entry to the house in short order, and supply an upgraded high security lock cylinder.

Unable to lock front door after going to the theatre in Exeter - 25/03/23.
