A new homeowner requested a technician come out to the premises and fit a new lock to a sliding door. He had not received the keys and could not open the door! In the early hours of the morning a customer in need of an urgent lock change requested our assistance. She could not leave for work, as the front door lock had failed and would leave the home unsecured! A technician left at once and on arrival, removed the old lock. This evening we received a call from a customer in need of a door repair service. The back door of the home had seized shut and the customer required urgent use, as it allowed easier access into the premises! We sent out a technician right away. Methods that are non-destructive were used to free the door and a full evaluation completed. The gearbox of the multipoint lock had failed and would need to be replaced. Lockforce Locksmiths Bedford received a call from a pensioner in need of our assistance with a lock change. The current lock fitted to the front door was preventing his carer from gaining access into the home. We immediately sent out a technician to assist. Digital Lock – Bourne End, Bedford, MK43 – 09/08/2022

A property manager requested our assistance with the installation of a higher security lock. On arrival, we found that the premises was a block of flats and the customer wanted the lock fitted to the common room door. After several recommendations were made, the customer opted for the installation of a Digital lock. This particular lock only allows entry with the use of a unique code, which would be given to each tenant. The Digital lock was then fitted to the requested door. The customer was pleased with the new, higher security lock and certain the tenants would be too.

This morning an urgent call out was received from a Bedford resident locked out of their home. We immediately left to assist the customer and were on site in less than 20 minutes! Our technician discovered that the customer had recently had a lock fitted that automatically locks once the door is pushed closed. He had not yet become accustomed to it. A new tenant contacted Lockforce Locksmiths Bedford and requested a technician come out to the premises , survey the property, and suggest new lock options. Once fully inspecting the door, our technician found the center case of the lock fitted was faulty and preventing the lock from operating smoothly. A new, center case was then installed to the multipoint lock and adjustments made to the alignment of the uPVC door. Seized Conservatory Windows – Riseley, Bedford, MK44 – 22/01/2022

Today our Bedford Locksmith received a call out in regards to several stuck windows. Our technician tended to the call out on a date and time requested by the customer. Our Bedford Locksmith found there were several seized windows in the customer’s conservatory. The locking mechanisms on each of the stuck windows were faulty. Locked out of property in Bedford, MK43 - 10th April 2021

After recently moving into their new property customer closed the door behind them leaving the key behind forgetting they needed this vital piece of equipment to reopen the door. Door will not lock in Bedford, MK42 - 6th April 2021

Lockforce Locksmiths Bedford were called out today to a customer that was having problems locking her door. We attended the property and gave the door a once over, first of all ensuring that the locking mechanism was working fine by engaging the hooks first of all by lifting the handle the operating the lock by turning the key. This ensured that the fault was not with the mechanism. This told us it was a problem with the alignment, after adjusting the hinges the door was realigned and now closes and locks perfectly saving the customer and expensive replacement of the mechanism. 

Faulty mortice lock in Bedford - 29th December 2019

Attended a customers property in Bedford that had a faulty mortise lock, he had had keys cut previously but because the original key was worn the new keys wouldn’t work either. We attended and gained access to the door and replaced the faulty lock for a new British standard lock ensuring the customer is meeting his insurance specifications. But most importantly he now has a working door. Safe and secure. 

Locked out on Xmas Eve in Bedford - 24th December 2019

Customer called on Xmas eve as the door had closed behind him and locked, we attended within 30 mins of call and a further 20 mins later the customer was in the warm again without any damage caused to his door, enabling him to keep his original key. 

Faulty gearbox preventing door lock in Bedford - 4th December 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Bedford recieved a call from a customer who couldn’t lock their back door. I attended the same day and on inspection found a faulty gear box. This was replaced and now the door is back working. Happy customer.
