Lock problem with delivery office reception in Ashford, TN23 – 21/10/21

Lockforce Locksmith Ashford were called out in the evening to attend to a lock problem with a door to a reception area of a main office. The door closer was not functioning and the door would not close automatically. We were presented with component parts to the door closer unit, which appeared to have been removed or had fallen off. All of the components appeared to be undamaged, so I proceeded to re-assemble the closer unit. After doing this and ‘tweaking’ the closer settings, we were able to get the door to engage with its seat in the frame and with the magnetic lock plate. Problem solved.

Lock inspection in Hastings, TN38 - 13/10/21

Lockforce Locksmith Ashford were called out by one of our national clients to provide an inspection and diagnosis visit of a lock problem at a newbuild home in Hastings. We attended the same day and examined the suspected faulty cylinder however after inspecting the cylinder out of the lock we found it to be working smoothly. We believe the lock issues was arising from the new door and the frame fitted. We have passed on our findings to our client and await further instruction. The tenant on site was very grateful for our speedy service and complimentary security advice.
