Anti Snap Lock Fitting

1. SS312 Diamond Approved Standard. The Highest level of security of Euro Cylinder currently the SS312 Diamond Approved Standard. I believe to reduce the chances of you becoming a victim of lock snapping that you purchases a Sold Secure SS312 Standard lock. 2. A TS007 3Star Euro Profile Cylinder. This cylinder meets the standard required by the British standard institution. Therefore displays the BSI kite mark, it is key to note the star level of rating above the BSI kite mark as this determines the level of security this lock will provide. With 3 star being the highest level and 1 star providing the lowest level of security but still upholding the British Standard TS007.

3. 1 or 2 Star Kite marked lock in conjunction with 1 or 2 star kite marked handles to make the equivalent of 3 star security. Euro Cylinders security is increased with a British standard set of handles or escutcheons. 01724 375 015!

Mortice Locks

Mortice locks are usually found in wooden doors, these locks come in two main types a sash lock and a dead lock. Sash Locks include a catch where a handle has to be lowered to open the lock and a dead lock is just a bolt which engaged upon the key being turned. With Wooden doors insurance company’s state that 5 lever British standard mortice locks on both front and rear doors. The Locks are identifiable by the BSI kite mark located on the face plate of the lock seen below. New insurance approved locks in Scunthorpe - 28/12/2022 

We were called to a home of a local business owner who was advised to increase the security of their home. They live in an old barn style house and have wooden doors all around the home. They were looking for the highest level of security locks which was also on one key. We as local locksmith in the area had exactly what they needed and made all 10 locks up to the same key whilst on site. The new British standard mortice locks where both sash and dead locks and all work off the same key so there was no need for 10 sets of keys. 

10/12/2017 – Door will not Lock

Job: I Was called to a home in Scunthorpe on a new building estate where a customer was unable to lock their door so they could go to bed. Solution: The Faulty gear box was removed and replaced with one which was a later design allowing the customer to be assured this will not keep happening and also the lock was upgraded to an anti-snap lock allowing extra security for the home.

Another Burglary

I was called on 03/09/2017 to a house just outside Scunthorpe where a house had been burgled. The house had new uPVC doors but unfortunately cheap locks the. The customer had been a victim to lock snapping there was a high value of good also stolen. After this had happened the customer realised that the security of her home was no longer good enough and asked us about how to increase this. We upgraded her locks to TS007 3* Ultion locks which also come with a £1000 Guarantee these where fitted on the front and back door allowing the customer to feel safe again in her own home.

Barton upon Humber Patio Doors 

We were called to a customer’s house on 20th July 2017, whom he patio doors but hadn't been able to open them for the last 18months. Within 20 minutes of attending the doors where one again open allowing me to identify the problem which was a failed uPVC door gear box which when the handle was depressed no action was happing on the doors MPL. Lockforce Locksmiths in Scunthorpe and. Surrounding Areas. Fixed the part re lubricated the doors moving parts then Realigned the door to allow a smoother motion when closing and locking the doors. The customer was so happy they could finally open the doors to allow east of access to the garden and with the heat allow the breeze to get into their home.  As Locksmiths we can open your old doors causing no damage allowing you to be reassured your once old on working door is now safe and secure and well as fully functioning.

Lost Keys in a commercial building in Scunthorpe 

We were called to a commercial building on Friday 21st July 2017 regarding a set of keys which had gone missing the commercial buildings owners where locking up when it was reported a set of keys had gone missing on a Master Keyed system. The owners look but could find the keys Amy ware and believed a customer may have picked them up. We then set to work changing all external door locks as the missing keys would open them all. The locks where replaced with keyed alike locks from a different brand so the old keys wouldn't even fit into the locks. The owners also required 26 extra keys these where all cut the same evening allowing the owners to be able to distribute the keys to all the required members of staff for the following days work.  All locks where replaced with anti-snap locks so not only allowing the customer to know they were the only people with keys now but the locks where providing a greater level of security for their building. 

Garage door Lock in Scunthorpe.

On Friday 9th June we was call to a customer’s house whom couldn't open there garage door as they lost the key over 3 months ago. The customer informed me she had been let down by previous locksmiths and they had quoted one price on the phone and turned up and quoted a lot more, within 24 hours of being called we had attended picked the lock open and changed the lock with a new one which was supplied with 2 keys. Job 1 - Barton Upon Humber

I was called to a house in Barton upon Humber, To replace all the locks on the home due to a new owner moving into the property. The new owner was looking for the highest level of security available to him. The property has 1 UPVC front door, a set of double patio doors and a Shed. As well as this the customer wanted to have new handles to fit the 3 Doors on the house. I spoke with the owner about the choices of lock available to him and the levels of security they provide. The customer decided to go with the Ultion Euro Cylinders on the 3 Doors with a heavy duty Hasp and Clasp with Padlock on the Shed. The Customer also only wanted to have one key to operate all of these locks so this was also adhered to. Within 48 hour all the new locks where fitted to the property and the customer was happy with the operation and service as seen from his review.

Job 2 - Barton Upon Humber

I took a call from a customer who was in need of some advice on a commercial building. Before the business was one big unit and they was looking to make the unit into 4 smaller units. The problem they had was the only way in and out of the smaller units was though old Fire Exit doors. So the problem was how to make a push bar fire exit door, usable as a lockable door. The door is an aluminium door with glass in the centre. Solution: I old fire exit parts where removed and replaced with an Adams Rite Lock, with a euro cylinder insert. This will provide security for the building but also the euro cylinder has a thumb turn. There for can easily be opened, meeting the fire recommendations for a commercial building. The euro cylinder was also an anti-snap lock providing a greater security from potential burglars. Job 3 - Scunthorpe

After fitting all new high security locks to a property in Hull I was asked to fit the Latest HD CCTV. The CCTC was a Full 1080DP System with a 4 channel recorder and a LED HD Monitor, this footage was stored not only locally on the HDD but remotely as well in case of the system being destroyed. All Footage was available to watch and play back remotely from a Desktop, Tablet or even a Mobile phone.  CCTV is proven to deter Burglary and car theft. Job 4 - Scunthorpe

At Lock force Locksmiths we was called to fit an alarm system to a property the customer had an old alarm system fitted. This alarm has previously been activated by a burglar but due to the reality that no one reacts to these systems no action was taken. The old box was white and blended in to the property with no visible lighting seen at night The customer was after a system that would work more as a deterrent than the old system and inform the home owners upon the alarm being activated. We informed the customer of our wireless alarm system with telephone calling. This alarm system is totally wireless and come with both PIR and Door Contact Sensors. Extra PIR’s and Door Contacts are available. There is no need for channelling to be made into the wall or permeant changes to the property. The system only requires battery changes every few year and informs the user when these are getting low. This Alarm System also comes with two highly visible Yellow Alarm Boxes. Where the alarm siren box also flashes to show the alarm is active. This siren also meet the regulations set by noise pollution. Job 5 - Scunthorpe

I was called on a Friday evening to attend a repossession of a business in the hull area. The old tenets had moved out but not handed the keys back so I was required to open the doors and change the locks. Upon attended the only entry point was a wooden door with a dead lock at the top and a sash lock in the middle. These where both by passed allowing the warrant Officer to entry the property to carry out their work. Whilst this was done I changed the locks with British Standard Mortice locks.

Job 6 - Entry gained into a mail box in Scunthorpe

LockForce locksmiths in Scunthorpe was called to a communal apartment block where a mail box key had been snapped in the lock. The key was snapped when the lock was halved turned. This lock was a cylinder lock with a back plate. The mail box was opened by undertaking a bypass method this allowed the locksmith to open the mail box to remove the faulty lock and replace this lock with a new Cylinder lock with 3 keys supplied. One key was given to the tenant and the other 2 where delivered to the landlord.

Job 7 - Entry gained into a Safe in Brigg

LockForce Locksmiths where called to a small business in Brigg in North Lincolnshire where a Yale safe failed to open. The lock had failed to disengage on the electrical mechanism due to low power. The bypass key had also be lost so the safe was opened by removing the bypass lock in the safe and then the battery’s where replaced in the safe and the customer made aware of the problem. The bypass lock was then replaced and 2 keys supplied to the customer all this was done in one visit.

Job 8 - Surgeon Back home after 12 hour shift

17/04/2017 at 5pm we attended a job in Barton-Upon-Humber, where a Surgeon from a Grimsby hospital was locked out of his apartment after a 12-hour shift. I was with his Within 10 minutes of his call.  He was back in his apartment Within 5 minutes of my arrival. He was also given out 10% NHS discount and advised on ways to stopping himself being locked out of his apartment again.

Job 9 - Scunthorpe Flood Doors

For the 4th time in April I was called to a faulty flood door. The door was opened using non-destructive entry techniques and the faulty parts where replaced.  Further to this the door was realigned and the keeps where correctly fitting to insure water tight seal was made.  Customer was also informed that the high security lock ABS 3star that was fitted to their door giving them piece of mind how secure their home was. Customer then asked me to fit a wireless alarm system for them.  The alarm with extra PIR sensors and Door Contact Sensors was fitted the next day. This alarm allows the customer to check the status of the alarm and activate and deactivate the alarm from there phone. It also will ring them should the alarm be triggered.
