Being locked out of your property is never a nice experience.

However you can minimise the aggravation you’ll suffer by taking the following step-by-step advice to ensure you’re back into the warmth and protection of your property in no time at all!

1. Double check you haven’t left your keys in a back pocket or whether there’s not an unlocked side or back door from which you can gain re-entry…while it sounds silly, you’ll be surprised at how often we come across customers who become blinded to the obvious when they lock themselves out and their minds are racing a mile a minute!
2. If you still can’t get in, then call us day or night without the fear that you’ll be pooled into a dead-end call centre! On receiving your call, I’ll head straight over and look to be with you within 30 minutes
3. In the meantime, scout out whether the access points of your property. For while your problem may be your front door, it may be quicker for me to pick the back or side door to get you back indoors quickly…before then tackling the broken lock at the front.
4. And finally find somewhere warm, such as a friend’s or neighbours, in which you can wait for me to arrive. We promise we won’t be long!
