2 door lock changes for recent house mover in Bishop Auckland, DL14 - 3rd August 2022

When we arrived, it was a old aluminium door, she explained she had a handy man out the day before and he made it worse. WE'RE LOCKED OUT OF THE HOUSE - 03/12/2020

A customer in Bishop Auckland called to say he’s just moved into a new house and the door has locked behind them locking them out. He said he’s been waiting 1 hour 30 minutes for someone to turn up who hasn’t turned up. We were on site within 10 minutes even tho it was 9pm at night. We can’t get into our shop - 18/11/2020

A customer in bishop Auckland called to say his old tenants have moved out his shop and had took the keys with them. When we arrived on site the shutter was down with no key to open it. We opened the shutter and put a new lock in. We then had to open to shop door which was locked on the night latch we slipped the latch opened the door and fitted a new rim cylinder.

I’ve just got a new home but not 100% happy with my door locks - 21/10/2020

We received a call from a customer who asked if we could come and see his security on his front door we arrived on site and noticed he had a night latch and rim cylinder fitted but below was a sash mortise lock with no key and the handles didn’t allow a key to be used. We explained what we could fit to make this door secure which he was happy for us to do. We fitted a new British standard insurance approved mortise lock and new handles 

I'VE LOST MY KEY TO THE HOUSE - 25/09/2020

A customer in Bishop Auckland called and explained she’s lost her key and can’t get back in she said it’s a wooden door with a longer key.  When we arrived on site we identified which type of mortise lock it was and gained non destructive entry. She then asked if we Could change the lock as that was the last key we fitted a new British standard insurance mortise lock

We arranged a time with the customer once we arrived we noticed he only had a standard cylinder on the door. We explained some options on what he can have and he decided to go with a ultion 3 star Simone secure cylinder with a £1000 guarantee we fitted while on site with no retuning call we also had 3 extra keys cut and posted straight to his home address.

Communal door lock isn’t working in Bishop Auckland, DL14 - 04/05/2020

An estate agents called to say they have a block of Flats and the communal door lock isn’t working and anyone can just walk in. We agreed with one of the tenants a time to go out and fix the lock. A customer in Bishop Auckland called to say he’s moved in to a new house and don’t have a back door key and can’t open the door. We explained over the phone what he would do and like him to stay in a different room while we completed the work and that we will send a invoice to his email address. He was happy with the way we are acting in the covid19 we went out and did our normal disinfecting the work area opened the back door fitted a new cylinder what came with 5 keys we disaffected the work area agin and let the customer know we had finished our wok and we walked to the back gate and asked him to check our work to make sure he was happy he give us the thumbs up and we left meaning were weren’t in contact with our customer keeping him and our self safe.

Lock Change - 30/03/2020 

A customer in bishop Auckland called to say there tenants have done a runner and left all the doors unlocked with no keys can we change the locks. We agreed a time to go so we could do the job with only us been there and arranged to post the keys at the customers location. We fitted 3 new cylinders to the doors though out the property and all 3 locks came with 5 keys each. On completion we locked up the property so it was secure and delivered the keys to there location 

Can’t open my side gate the key is just spinning - 19/03/2020

A customer in Bishop Auckland called to say his side gate lock isn’t working and the key is just spinning. We arrived on site at a agreed time he explained that the gate is him main entrance we opened the gate and took the night latch unit off to see that the spindle on the rim cylinder had snapped. We fitted a new rim cylinder to the gate and it was working as it should.

I’m having trouble with the door - 09/03/2020

A customer in Bishop Auckland called and said they are having trouble with one of the doors. When we arrived on site he had you have to force the handles right down to get it to open. Once we had a look at we we noticed the hooks weren’t getting all the back inside and letting a little bit stay out for the door to catch we renewed the centre case on the mechanism and had the door nice and smooth.

We can’t open our back door - 25th February 2020 

A customer in bishop Auckland called to say she couldn’t open her back door. But wouldn’t be back from work until 5pm we meet them on site at 5pm opened the back door and fitted a new gearbox to the back door and adjusted the hinges.

Can you come and change 6 locks? - 16th February 2020

Lockforce customer in Bishop Auckland called early Sunday morning to ask if we could call out to change 6 locks on his house. He said there was a front and a back door french doors and a garage and a gate. We were on site with 15 minutes from his call and fitted 6 new cylinders 4 doors a garage door and a side gate. Once we finished he explained that he’s fell out with a family member and didn’t want them to have access to his property while he works away.

I'm evicting my tenants can you meet us at the property - 31st January 2020

3 weeks prior to this date the customer called to book in an eviction and asked if we could meet him on site 12pm we told him this wasn’t a problem and booked it into the dairy. The day came and we meet the owner on site awaiting for the bailiff the old tenants were still inside packing all the stuff once the bailiff turned up we changed the front and back door cylinders to a snap safe cylinder with 5 keys each a happy customer now had possession back of his property but had a lot of work to do to bring it back up to standard to sell on.

I want to upgrade my locks - 25th January 2020

We were called to property to have a look at some locks to maybe upgrade them. The front door was a brand new door already however with a Brisant ultion in we explained to the customer that that was one of the best locks on the market and we could keep that lock in and key the other 9 locks to his front door so 1 key would open all doors he was amazed that we could do that and jumped at the chance. We fitted 9 ultions to the other doors thoughout the proptery and then showed him how to register his locks for the £1000 guarantee.

I can’t lock my front door - 17th January 2020

A customer in Bishop Auckland called around 5 pm at night to say she has gone to lock the back door to go out but the back door won’t lock we were on site around 30 minutes from her call and noticed the mech had failed not allowing the customer the lift the handles we took it out the door and showed her the broken part and she was happy for us to fit a new gearbox after we put everything back in the door we had to make a few adjustments and had the door back to being smooth.

We’ve come back from holiday and can’t open 2 internal doors - 28th December 2019 

When we arrived on site in bishop Auckland the lady explained they have been away on holiday And when they’ve got home they noticed her keys where kissing for 2 internal doors. Both locks where 3 leaver mortise locks we gained non destructive entry to both doors by picking open the locks. She explained she didn’t need new lock as she won’t be locking them anymore.

I can't open my back bi fold doors - 22nd December 2019

We were called to a house in bishop Auckland after the customer couldn’t open his back bi fold doors. The handle was just spinning around we gained entry to the door after the mpl had failed and we renewed the gearbox on the mpl and the doors where like new again. Happy customer can now open the door to let the dog out.

Our tenants moved out and would like the locks changed - 29th November 2019

We received a call from a customer who said her old tenants had moved out but wanted the locks changed she explained she was on her way to bishop Auckland and she’s coming from Cumbria so could we meet them at the property. They had a key for the back door so they asked if they could try that first. That key worked and we had access but she asked if we could change all the locks. We fitted 2 British standard insurance approved mortise locks on the front and back doors and then a rim cylinder in the front door.

We can't lock our garage side door - 15th November 2019

A customer in bishop Auckland called and said she is getting ready to move and want to put some stuff in the garage but they can’t lock the door. We turned up on site at an agreed time and the lock in the door wasn’t working she explained that it hasn’t been fitted long by a handy man but now it’s not working. We undid the screws what we thought was holding the lock and the lock was stuck we eventually got the lock out to find that it was that badly fitted it had been put in with expanding foam. We then fitted a new lock and fitted it correctly. 

I've lost my keys! - 10th November 2019

A customer in Bishop Auckland called to say she’d been out the previous night and had lost her key and had to stop at a friends house. She asked if we could meet her at her house at 2pm to get her access and renew the cylinder as it was the only key left. We fitted a new snap safe cylinder and provided her with 5 keys. Always call a professional! - 23rd October 2019

A customer in Bishop Auckland called explaining he was locked out but "HAD A GO MYSELF" to gain entry. These words are probably the worst word to say to a locksmith. We arrived on site and noticed he had try to drill the lock himself and therefore drilling to the core and mangling the lock. We opened up the door and had to renew the cylinder costing him more money then what it should have. Always call the professionals first. 

We’ve just moved in to a new house and locked the keys in the out side office - 26th September 2019

A returning customer in Bishop Auckland called to say they’ve just moved into a new house and the outside office door had closed behind them and the keys were in side. We were with them within 5 minutes from calling and had the door open minutes later. 

We can’t open our unit door - 11th September 2019 

A large local removal company in Bishop Auckland called to explain that a new lad had been to the unit and locked the front unit door and left by the fire escape and that they couldn’t open the front door as it was locked from inside. Lockforce Locksmiths arrived on site and noticed it had a letter box so we used our letterbox tool to knock the internal lock to unlock the door.

Can’t unlock my front door - 28th August 2019

A lady called Lockforce Locksmiths Bishop Auckland explaining she just moved into her new home and she can’t open the front door. On arrival it was a brand new composite door with a cheap euro cylinder in what had failed. We renewed the cylinder to a snap safe cylinder supplied with 5 keys and the door was working perfectly.

Glued lock - 16th August 2019

A customer in spennymoor called Lockforce Locksmiths explaining somebody had glued his lock. We arrived on site and found he had a yale smart locking system fitted. He showed us a video of the kids doing it off his ring door bell. All the push buttons had been glued not allowing the customer to put his code in. We gained entry to his property and had to put a new handle and cylinder in as his full system wasn’t working due to the glue. Problem solved.

I can’t get the lock off my caravan and I’m going away in it! - 31st July 2019

We were on site in 20 minutes from this customers call in Bishop Auckland. When we arrived he said that the key had snapped off in the lock and he can’t get the lock off the tow bar on his caravan. We extracted the broken key and picked open the lock to take it off the caravan a happy customer can now get on his way to Scotland to enjoy some relax time. 

My front door won’t lock in Bishop Auckland - 25th July 2019

A customer in Bishop Auckland called Lockforce Locksmiths Bishop Auckland saying she has gone to lock the door but it won’t lock. We arrived on site and noticed that the door had swelled with the heat so we made some minor adjustments to the hinges and the door was locking nice and smoothly. If the customer had let this go on this would have ended up putting strain on the mpl causing it to fail. Calling us out early saved this customer money in the long run.

Unlockable cabin door in Bishop Auckland - 11th July 2019

A local business called explaining they’ve just taken over a new site and that the work cabin door won’t lock. We agreed a time to attend and when we turned up on site it was clear that the cylinder was faulty, we renewed the cylinder on the cabin door and just like that the door was like new again!

Snapped key in lock - 26th June 2019 

A customer in Bishop Auckland called explaining she’s just finished work and has snapped the key in the lock. When we arrived on site we noticed it was a night latch so we slipped the latch to get the customer inside then extracted the key from the rim cylinder. Problem solved! A local hairdressers on Bongate street, Bishop Auckland called explaining that they couldn’t open the front shop door and customers were locked in and out of the salon! 10 minutes from the phone called we arrived on site and gained non destructive entry, opened the door and adjusted the ball latch as it had jammed not allowing the door to open. Back door not locking in Bishop Auckland - 24th May 2019

We had a customer in Bishop Auckland explaining he couldn’t lock his back door when closed but that he could when it was open. From what he had explained over the phone we knew exactly what the problem was. On arrival we adjusted the door hinges and set the door correctly. Caravan wheel locked - 3 May 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Bishop Auckland received an urgent call from a customer who was planning on taking his caravan away for the weekend. The customer had spent two hours trying to remove a clamp from the caravan's wheel. I arrived on site and promptly removed the clamp by drilling into the lock. The customer was very happy as he was still able to go ahead with his weekend break.

Lockforce Locksmiths Bishop Auckland received a call from a customer explaining that she had sold her home but needed to gain access through the patio doors to remove some furniture. I was happy to attend the call at a specific time as the customer needed to return to the house in her lunch break. We Are Now Autowatch Ghost Approved Installers - 25th March 2019

Recently we completed a course to become an Autowatch ghost approved installer and we were since asked to fit the system on a Ford Focus RS! We booked our customer in and met him at his work place in Bishop Auckland so he didn’t need to take any time off work. We fitted the ghost immobiliser to his vehicle to protect his vehicle from been stolen. This product is a fantastic way to make sure your vehicle stays where it belongs!

Bishop Auckland Football Club - 11 March 2019

The Club called Lockforce Locksmiths Bishop Auckland explaining that the food hut keeps getting broken into and food and pop keeps getting pinched. We arranged a time to go out and visit the hut and see what security we could add! We had a look around and the hut was made from cladding and steel which made it hard as we couldn't put just any lock on! We ordered materials that we thought would work best and went back a couple of days later. We added 2 extra locks to the hut and one att the bottom of the door not allowing it to prized open like it had been in the past. 

Key not turning in lick - A customer from bishop Auckland called who was struggling to turn the key in the door! When we arrived on site we did our usual checks and noticed her cylinder was faulty. We then put a new snap safe cylinder in her front door and supplied with 5 keys! And the door was easy for her to lock again she even commented how the keys where a lot more sturdy compared to the old ones. This happy customer also left a glowing review!  

"2 year old locked in the car!" - We received a call from a customer in Bishop Auckland! They explained that they had put their 2 year old son in the car and he had locked the doors after she closed it! She explained her car is parked in bishop Auckland hospital car park so we left immediatly and were fortunatly only 10 minutes away. The pressure was on from the moment we pulled up as the little boy was putting objects in his mouth! Fortunatly we had the car open within just a few minutes, much to the relief of the customer!  

"I’m locked out of my house in Bishop Auckland" - A customer called and explained she was locked out of her home in Bishop Auckland and had to stop the night at her friends as a result. We agreed a time and when we arrived on site she said she had a key for the lock but the door just won’t unlock! On inspection we noticed the curtain on the mortice lock had worn right down and fell inside the lock causing it to fail. This was the reason she couldn’t get in! We gained non destructive entry and fitted a new British standard insurance approved mortice lock. 

"My safe won’t work!" - A lady phoned and explained her safe was open but when she tried to lock it, it felt like it wasn't working properly. We arrived on site and noticed her wardrobes were built around the safe we explained the safe it is it would work out cheaper to renew then what it would to Fix! She was happy for us to renew and we got the exact same size it still fit perfect in her wardrobe 

"10 selection boxes!" - Every Friday morning we attend our local BNI Chapter in Bishop Auckland where lots of other businesses meet up and try to help pass business though. At the chapter last week, one lady from The Butterwick Hospice asked if everyone could help her out and donate some chocolate! So today, Wednesday 28th November we accepted the request and arrived at the Hospice armed with 10 selection boxes, I'm sure they will be very well received!! 

"Don't have a front door key"  - A shop owner from Bishop Auckland called to explain that she had just gotten a new shop in town but it doesn't have a front door key. Lockforce arrived on site at a agreed time, noticed it was a mortice lock so we opened the front door and fitted a brand new British standard insurance approved mortice lock. Yet another happy customer that can now use the front door of the shop and feel secure! 

Tuesday 16th October - Lockforce Locksmiths had a job booked in to fit remote deadlocks and an alarm system to a Renault master! We arrived on site nice and early and started by fitting a 2 bolt kit which would be fully alarmed, we had to run wires from the load area to the cab area and connect it all up. Once we had everything in place, we had to test that the system worked and that the alarm would pick up the movement, a shock for those around so early in the morning im sure! After everything had been tested and tidied up we had the customer check over to make sure he was happy! After a quick run though, the customer was over the moon and now can rest easy knowing his tools will be safe in his van. 

Saturday 29th September 2018 A call came in for a property in Bishop Auckland late on a Saturday night as the customer was struggling to lock their back patio doors. They explained over the phone that when the door was open it works fine but won’t once the door is closed we knew the problem straight away! We arrived on site and started adjusting the hinges on the door as you could see by looking at it if had dropped. After a few adjustments the door was locking perfectly! A big thank you from the customer as she said she hadn’t been able to lock it for a couple of days! Not ideal! 

Saturday 8th September 2018 Lockforce locksmiths in Bishop Auckland received a call from a farmer up in Woodland, explaining his UPVC door handle was floppy and him and his family had ended up being locked out! We explained we were currently just finishing off a job and would be with them within the hour. 40 minutes later we arrived on site and were up against a failed mpl! We opened up the door without causing any damage, with the right tools and equipment renewed the gearbox on the mpl and gave the customer a 12 month warranty on the parts we renewed. Yet another happy customer safe and secure in their home. 

Wednesday 15th August 2018 a customer called to explain thta she thinks her patio door has dropped and it now won’t close! Lockforce Bishop Auckland were straight on the case, adjusted the hinges so the door was lifted to the correct height and it is now working how is should. Such a simple fix but if left uncorrected this puts pressure on the mpl, causing the gearbox to fail. Essentially the customer hs now saved herself a lot of money and time by calling so quickly.  

Wednesday 1st August 2018 Lockforce were called at 6pm tonight by a customer explaining she had locked her car key in the car, unfortunatly her spare key was also in the car! We arrived on site within 40 minutes, opened the car with no fuss and got the keys back to the customer! She then looked a the spare key, only to discover it wasn't actually for her car at all and hers had been in her house the entire time!  

Wednesday 11th July 2018 we had a customer who had been out watching the England match and as if losing the match wasn't bad enough, on arriving home the front door wouldn't open! We arrived on site 15 minutes from getting the call and had the customer back in doors in no time! The customer was amazed with our service and response time!

Can’t get the key in the safe! 

Saturday 23rd June 2018 - We had a call from a customer around 10am, explaining his nana has just got back from holiday and can’t put the key in the safe! We were currently on a job and told the customer we would be there within the hour. After arriving on site we noticed something was stuck in the key way! Taking our time we carefully took out this snap piece, what looked like the end of a steak knife! We asked the customer who had keys to her home and she was unsure so while on site we renewed the rim cylinder on the front door! She was so relieved we had discovered this!

Thursday 24th may 2018 we had a call from a customer explaining he can not open his front door! We arrived on site 15 minutes later open his door without causing any damage renewed the gearbox on the failed mpl and put all parts back in the door and just like that the door was like new! We asked him where he found us and he said he did a quick google search for locksmith bishop Auckland and we were at the top with the best reviews 

My front door is stiff

Thursday 10th may 2018 we had a call from a customer in bishop Auckland explaining that he is struggling opening his front door! We arrived on site in a time that suited him! We took out his mpl to give it a service out everything back together and put back in the door and the mpl was just like new! This customer acted early and saved his self money as if left he would have had to have the gearbox renewed 

Snapped door handle 

21st April 2018 we had an emergency called out after the customer snapped his door handle from the inside and couldn't open the door to let the dogs out in the back garden! We arrived on site renewed the door handles and know the customer had access to his back garden 

I’m having trouble with my door handles! On Thursday 29th March 2018 we had a call from a elderly lady who was worrying about her door handles! She explained she had phoned Checkatrade and they recommended us at Lockforce and give her our number! So said her door is locked at the moment and she is unable to lock to door but was just concerned about her handles! We booked her in for Friday dinner time! When we arrived she showed us her door and her handles where on their last legs so we renewed her handles and also upgraded her 5 pin Euro cylinder to a new anti snap cylinder! She was very happy now she feels safe in her own home 

On Thursday 29th March 2018 we had a call from a elderly lady who was worrying about her door handles! So said her door is locked at the moment and she is unable to lock to door but was just concerned about her handles! We booked her in for Friday dinner time! On 12th March 2018 we received a call from a lady explaining she was just going to set off to work and the only door in the property won’t open! And she thinks it’s the top hook on the silver strip in the door was stuck! We arrived on site opened the door with out causing any damage renewed the gearbox on the mpl and where the lady was slamming the handle down damaged the handles so we renewed her door handles and upgraded her standard cylinder to an anti snap cylinder! A happy customer now on her way to work 

On 23rd February 2018 we received a call from a customer explaining he had evicted his old tenants and would like his front and back door locks changing as they had not returned the keys! We arranged a time to suit him and on arrival we upgraded the standard cylinders to anti snap cylinders, supplied with 3 keys each! Now he can do his work getting his property back up to lettable standard and know his next tenants will be safe with new locks. 

On 2nd February 2018 we received a call from a customer explaining  that her back door would not open. We arrived on site at an arranged time with the customer and noticed that the mechanism was a era vectis, we explained to the customer we have had a lot of faults with this type of mechanism and explained we could replace it. With the customer happy we got the door open with out causing any damage, replaced the gearbox, upgraded the handles and fitted a new anti snap lock. The customer was extremely happy with the work carried out and left us an excellent review on checkatrade. 

On Monday 15th January 2018 a landlord called explaining his tenant could not open the back door! We arranged to met the tenant once they got home from work and on inspection we noticed the door was infact unlocked but was still unable to open! We got the door open without causing any damage and renewed the gearbox on the mech, now the door is in full working order and like new! The landlord now has a happy tenant with a fully working back door! 

On Sunday 3rd December 2017 we had a call from one of main contracts asking if we could attend a board up in spennymoor! We arrived on site 20 minutes later and noticed the door had been kicked in but no damage was caused to the door just the jeep was on the floor! We made a quick phone call explaining there was only one door to this property and that we could fix the lock to get this door secure without using a board! We reattached the keep to the frame and the door was like new 

On Wednesday 1st November 2017 we received a call from a customer who sounded quite stressed that he was out walking the dog and had lost his keys! We arrived on site 10 minutes later and noticed the front door was a wooden door and we identified the lock to be a 5 leaver mortice! We picked open the door within minutes! The customer was relieved to be getting back in to his warm home! And he was that impressed with our service he left us 3 reviews 1 on google 1 on our website and the other on Checkatrade 

On Saturday 14th October 2017 the received a call 03.30 in the morning customer had lost their keys we arrived on site 04.00 and by 04.10 we had our customer back inside her home! We gained none destructive entry on a 5 leaver mortice lock and then renewed the lock upgrading her to a new British standard era fortress the lady was very impressed with the quick response time and the even quicker service!

On Friday 6th October 2017 we had a call off a lady who said she’s just got home from work and she can’t get inside her house she said it’s a wood door but an old lock! I arrived on site 10 minutes later noticed the leavers had failed in the mortice lock we gained non destructive entry and renewed with a era fortress! The lady was very impressed with our service she left us a cracking review left on our google page 
 

Monday 11th September 2017 we had a call from a repeat customer explaining they are struggling locking the back door of the surgery! We arrived on site 45 minutes from the call identified the problem they where having and had to renew the euro cylinder with a new anti snap cylinder and also tightened up the rim cylinder as it worked it self loose! 

On Sunday 27th august 2017 a customer called explaining she getting ready to go on holiday and she can't open her door to get her cases out! She explained her handles are just spinning! We rushed over to her as we knew she didn't have much time! We got her door open with out causing and damage took the mpl out to notice a part inside her gear box had broken off! To save the customer money we stripped down the gear box and replaced the part broken instead of renewing the gearbox! Put everything back together and the door is back to working order as it should! The customer was happy she shot off to the airport 

On Saturday 12th August 2017 we received a call from a customer explaining hes away on holiday and from a quick Google search for locksmith bishop Auckland he found us at the top with the most reviews he explained he had a call from a neighbour telling them his alarm is constantly going off so he has asked if we can go gain entry to his house turn the alarm off and lock the door we turned up on site 5 minutes after getting off the phone opened his door turned the alarm off and locked it back up an other trustworthy customer happy with our service 

On Thursday 20th July we received a call 2.30am form a customer who explained the police had forced entry into his dads house after he fell ill! He said he searched for 24hr locksmiths in bishop Auckland and seen our advert at the top after been let down by another locksmith! We arrived on site to see the multi point lock (mpl) was snapped in half and the handles snapped off! We renewed the mpl there and then with set off new handles and upgraded the cylinder with a new anti snap cylinder! The customer was over the moon with how quick we arrived on site that early in the morning and fixing everything on the first visit 

Can't lock our front door 

On Sunday 4th June we received a call off a customer who stated that they were having problems locking her front door which was only had new locks on 2 months ago and the company used weren't answering the phone! So she search for locksmith bishop Auckland and she come across us at the top with the most reviews! We arrived on site to she that the latch was sticking on taking the locking mech out the door we noticed it had been siliconed and all the silicone was stopping the parts from working! We need the gear box and everything was working perfectly! The lady was over the moon and left us a cracking review 

Can't lift our handle to lock the door

25th June 2017 we received a call off a customer who explained the couldn't lift the handle on the door to lock it! He stated that he did a quick google search for locksmith in bishop Auckland and see us at the top with the most reviews on arrival the handle wouldn't budge so we took the mechanism out stripped it down and rebuilt it instead of replacing to save the customer money! Put it all back together and now the door operates like new 

My car key or fob won't open my car

On Saturday 1st July we received a call at 9pm customer explained he found us from a quick search on google for a locksmith bishop Auckland! 10 minutes later we arrived on site! Non destructive entry to his citron c3 with a special method then once we were in the car we put the key in the ignition and that unlocked the rest of the car! We opened the customer key fob and fixed the problem to why it wouldn't unlock the car! Now the car locks and unlocks with the fob and the customer left us a excellent review on google
