His door was badly misaligned which resulted in it being difficult to close and lock. Lock change for police raided property in Redcar - 03/04/2022

I was called by a lady from down South who had a property in Teesside. She was renting it out but had unfortunately had some issues with her residents. She wanted to regain access to her property again. Since the past residents had changed the lock themselves, she didn’t have any keys. We quickly gained entry. The house had been used to grow illegal substances and the police had previously raided the property. We fitted a new Anti Snap/ Pick/ Drill lock and supplied her with 5 keys.

Medical Centre Lock Emergency in Redcar - 25/03/22

We were called by a Medical Centre who had issues with the lock on a staff entrance door. The door had locked shut and would not unlock. ‘Local Bed and Breakfast’ in Redcar - 07/03/2022

I was called by a local bed and breakfast company. Their property had been burgled while empty. Their back door handles and lock had been snapped and the intruder had entered the building. We quickly arrived and assessed the situation. We fitted new handles and an Anti Snap/ Pick/ Drill Lock to prevent anything similar happening in the future.

I was called on Christmas Day by a chap who had been burgled. They had used a quick and easy way to break the lock then stolen the family car. All in under 2 minutes and without anyone in the house hearing. They family were very distressed. I was called by a customer who’s girlfriend had witnessed a prowler in their back garden. She was very shook up and wanted the security improving. Dog locked out - Owner Locked In, Redcar 16/04/21

I was called by a customer whose front door was broken and they couldn’t unlock it. They had been using the rear door in the meantime but let the dog out into the back garden and then couldn’t open the back door. I responded immediately and gained non destructive entry to the door. Keep your property secure in Redcar - 30/03/21

Lockforce Locksmiths Stockton was called by an customer who had been the victim of abuse. They needed an urgent lock change/upgrade. Due to the sensitive nature of the situation, I responded and parked a couple of streets away, changed into clothes to look like a delivery driver. I then put everything for the job in a cardboard box and walked round and discreetly carried out the lock change to give the customer improved security and peace of mind.

Locked out after Bike Ride in Redcar - 18/03/21

I was called by a guy who had just returned from a long bike ride to discover that he could not unlock his door with the key. I responded immediately. I gained non destructive entry to the door. I inspected the locking system and found that the Gearbox had shattered internally, the door was also misaligned. When the door is misaligned it makes it harder to lift the handles to lock the door. This puts extra pressure on the locking system and eventually leads to it breaking down. Due to the fact that I carry a high level of stock I was able to fit a new Gearbox and fully realign the door making it as good as new.

Freezing Shop in Redcar - 17th January 2020

Lockforce Locksmiths were called by a local business with an entrance door that would not shut properly and the staff were freezing. The door was over 30 years old and had never been secured well enough. It had constantly had temporary fixes that would only work for a short period of time. The lock fitted was also insufficient and not compliant with Insurance. I fitted a High Security Mortice Sashlock with new Handles and also adjusted the door. Lockforce Locksmiths Redcar was called to a local business at 6am. The shop owner had locked the door behind them while they prepared the shop for a busy day, unfortunately the lock failed and they could not get out. High Security Lock Out - 15th June 2019

Lockforce locksmiths Redcar received a call from a customer who had wisely fitted 3 Star High Security Locks to their doors but managed to lose their keys! Bi Fold Door mechanism fail in Redcar - 5th June 2019

A customer had Bi Fold Doors with a very old locking mechanism fitted, unfortunately it had completely failed. I was able to provide them with a temporary lock. Despite the mechanism been very old I was able to source a new part in the UK, which made the doors as good as new and saved the expense of having to purchase new doors.

Gun cabinet secured - Redcar – May 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Redcar were contacted by a customer that had a faulty lock on their gun cabinet and urgently needed to secure the weaponry inside. I supplied and fitted a new lock with key retention for added security.

Locks now compliant for insurance purposes - Redcar - 23 April 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Redcar were contacted by a customer to request a free Home Security Survey. The customer also reported an issue locking their front door. I identified that two of their doors had old locks fitted which were not compliant with the customer’s insurance policy. I fitted new locks and realigned the front door enabling it to lock. Whilst it’s great that old locks may still be working, there is a risk that they may not meet modern day security requirements and could invalidate your insurance policy.

Urgent access provided for dental practice in Redcar – 5 April 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Redcar were contacted by a dental practice who required urgent access to an internal room holding essential equipment. I was able to gain non-destructive access to the room within minutes and a new locking system was fitted to ensure that the problem would not reoccur.

I received a late night call from an elderly lady in her nineties. She was very upset at discovering she was locked out of her house. It was a cold miserable night. I responded in 20 minutes and 5 minutes later had her back in the warm after carrying out a non destructive entry.

I had a call from a lady who could not lock her front when leaving for work, turns out the door had been difficult to lock for some time. I responded in 20 minutes. The door needed a new Gearbox, I carry a high level of stock on my van so I was able to replace it immediately and she was on her way to work in no time!

Locked out in Redcar

A customer had locked their car and house keys in the boot. It was snowing and freezing cold. I responded in 25 minutes and soon gained entry to the vehicle and recovered the keys.

A lady called Lockforce Locksmiths Redcar saying her door would not lock. The door was stiff to operate. I removed and inspected the MPL mechanism and discovered it was a faulty claw box. I was able to repair the box which saved the customer money. While I was there she asked about improved security. I gave her advice on securing her home and she upgraded her locks to Anti Snap/Pick/Drill. Wise move.

"Locked out in Redcar"

I was called to a couple locked out of their house in Redcar. Unfortunately their dog was inside alone and distressed due to fireworks going off. I responded within 30 minutes, gained entry and reunited them with their dog.

I was called to a lady who had locked her keys in the boot of her car. I responded quickly and gained non destructive entry and recovered the keys for her.

"Locked out of the house"

Lockforce Locksmiths Redcar were called to a family locked out of their house. It was just getting dark and it was a cold night. I climbed over an 8 foot side gate and gained entry to the rear of the property within 5 minutes. That allowed the family to get into the warm while I worked on their front door. The gearbox had seized so I was able to replace it with a new one. After giving them advice on their home security, I left them safe and warm.

Gale force winds causing chaos across Redcar today. Lockforce Locksmiths responded to calls where customers had broken keys in the lock and misaligned or damaged doors due to the wind. I was able to make each customer safe and secure again.

I had an emergency call out this evening to a guest who was locked in a bathroom in a hotel room! I responded quickly and once on site gained a non destructive entry within a minute. I then repaired the lock and door handle to ensure it didn’t happen again. Very happy business and guest!
