Early this morning we were attending an emergency locksmith callout in Bridgehall in Stockport. Our Lockforce van was out on the street and we were able to get the customer back into their home within minutes. As we got back to our van, two of the customers' neighbours came out to enquire about some potential work on their properties. Elderly Couple Snapped Key in Door Twice - Brinnington, Stockport, SK5 - 27th July 2020

This evening our Stockport locksmiths attended to an elderly couple for the second time in as many days. They first called us out a few days ago because they had snapped the key in their cylinder. We used our expertise to extract the snapped key from the cylinder and cut a fresh key to avoid having to replace the entire cylinder. This morning Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport were called to a house in Heaton Moor who couldn't unlock his front door. He had noticed an issue with his lock the night before when he left home for a night shift at work, but as the door locked itself automatically and he was running late, he thought he'd leave the problem until the morning. This afternoon Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport were called to support a landlord with an eviction. After going through the proper channels to secure the eviction, he now needed a trusted locksmith to help execute the eviction alongside the bailiffs. Spinning Door Handles on Patio - Cheadle, SK8 - 13th December 2019

We received a call from a customer looking for a locksmith in Cheadle. His patio door handles were just spinning, and not engaging the locking mechanism. He says he googled the problem and believed it to be the gearbox. He lived very close to another customer we were visiting today so we arranged to visit them afterwards, much to his delight. When we arrived at the property, we discovered the handles were actually spinning the wrong way! Using non destructive techniques, we opened the door to inspect further. They had an uncommon 25mm back set gearbox, but luckily we had one in our van. We installed it and adjusted the hinges appropriately. 200 Classrooms Resuited - Glossop, SK14 - 1st October 2019

Locks Replaced After Mugging - Stockport, SK1 - 16th August 2019

A young lady who had recently moved to Stockport from France was doing her shopping at a major superstore when two thugs approached her and dragged her bag off her and ran out the store. The bag contained her house keys and she was naturally concerned for her safety. She called Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport and we raced to the rescue.

Ashton Cricket Club Security and Lock Upgrade - Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7 - 9th August 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport are proud to have been supporting our neighbours in Ashton-under-Lyne, the Ashton Cricket Club, for the past 7-8 years with all their locksmith and security needs.

We've been supporting the Ashton Cricket Club who have recently won several grants to upgrade their facilities, and we have addressed their security upgrades.

All doors have been suited so now they only need to carry two keys instead of 20. We have also done the electronic shutters on the doors and windows on the front and side and on the upgraded bar. We put a security grille on the kitchen.

The cricket club have also won another grant to improve their flood lights for bowling, and to install electric gates at the top and bottom of the clubhouse which we are excited to be supporting them with.

Mortice Lock Worn Away - Bredbury, Stockport, SK6 - 15th July 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport recently attended a lovely retired couple in a quaint 5 bedroom house in Bredbury, Stockport. The pair of retired teachers were having problems with their locks. The front door lock (night latch) was replaced because it was old and was sticking. The side door was an old mortice lock. It wouldn't turn to open the lock as the bolt thrower had worn away, which we also replaced. Like many customers before them, they were more than happy with the service we provided.

During my time with them, they shared some moving stories about their travels across the globe. One story that has stuck with me is about their time in Africa, having seen first hand poverty, and their fundraising attempts since. They have now raised funds and built a fresh water well in the African village and I take my hat off to them!

Stockport City Centre Break In - Stockport, SK1 - 10th July 2019

Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport were referred to a customer by a friend who couldn't rate our service highly enough. We were attending a job on the other side of the city, and usually in rush hour it'd take 90 minutes to get to this customer, but we explained and she said she was happy to wait the 90 minutes of the strength of our reviews and her friends recommendation.

Sadly, this customers home had been broken into whilst they were working a night shift. The burglar had snapped the lock on the rear patio door. After discussing a range of solutions with the customer, we agreed the best way to move forward is to install a new Brisant Lock Lock onto the door, which makes it near impossible to snap using conventional grips used by burglars thanks to its rounded design. The customer was very happy with the outcome given the unfortunate circumstances.

Dignity and compassion required - Stockport - 12 April 2019

On occasions Lockforce Locksmiths Stockport are asked to attend jobs that are not the run of the mill. My services were called upon in April following a fatal accident involving a house fire. I was asked to attend the scene after the Police had finished their investigation and change both the front and rear door locks due to a number of people having access. On jobs like this total dignity and compassion has to be observed. When I had finished replacing the locks I received a handshake and an expression of thanks from the Police Sargent who stated that he wished all locksmiths had the same dedication towards their jobs.

When a customer is totally satisfied with the service you have provided they sometimes give you a tip, however on Monday I installed a mortice lock in a customer's property and as a tip he allowed me to sit in and start up the engine of his Lamborghini. Now that is a tip, it's times like this that I love my job!!
