Fitting British Standard Mortice Locks in Lincoln, LN1 – 04/01/2022
We had a call from a customer today who wanted to change the mortice lock in their door. We had this done in no time at all. As standard we only fit BS3621/2007 locks mortice locks to wooden doors as this complies with home insurance standards. Lockforce Lincoln were out today working with Lockforce Lincoln working on a garage door. An elderly gentleman had fitted two mortice locks over 20 years ago to his garage door and recently lost the keys. Entry was gained and new locks fitted, the gentleman was extremely pleased as his tools and equipment for his favourite pastime (gardening) were all locked in there and of course his car.

Locked out in Cranwell - 28th February 2020
Out again tonight on behalf of Lockforce Lincoln. A couple were locked out of their house, due to losing the keys. I assisted the couple on behalf of Lockforce Lincoln, because I was closer and would be on site in half the time. Entry gained in no time and a new anti snap cylinder fitted with 3 new keys. Sometimes it’s about getting to the customer as soon as possible and on this occasion, I was on site in 20 minutes.

Lockforce Lincoln was happy to help, when I got the the property the lady showed me the problem. You had to slam the door as it was out of alignment and then jiggle the key to lock it. I changed the cylinder to our versa anti-snap cylinder and realigned the door she can now operate the door with ease.

Lockforce Locksmiths received a call from a lady who was locked inside her property and need to get out for the school run. Lockforce Lincoln arrived to a failed gearbox which didn’t takes long to open the the door allowing the lady to make the school run. Lockforce Lincoln were asked to cover a job as a matter of urgency. A young lady could not open her front door, the cylinder had seized. We gained access to the property and replaced the cylinder with a thumb turn British Standard, anti snap, back in the property safe and secure.

Faulty Gearbox in Lincoln - 11th June 2019
Lockforce Locksmiths Lincoln were called out by a lady who was worried about how she will secure her house for the night because her door won’t lock. When I arrived at the property I diagnosed the problem as being a faulty gearbox, not having the correct gearbox in the van I fitted a temporary lock. Went back to the customer today to fit the door with the original MPL and new gearbox. Customer was more than happy with her service and feeling secure once again.
Faulty key code lock - 15th June 2019
Lockforce Locksmiths Lincoln had a call out from a nursing home who were needing an emergency locksmith to gain access to a faulty combination door lock. Inside was emergency equipment which they need on a daily basis. I arrive within the hour and gained access to the room and changed the code lock. I also adjusted another door free of charge as the key code sash wasn’t even falling into the keep. A very happy customer who even gave me cake and a cup of tea.

On arrival the Child was upset but in less then five minutes I had gained non destructive entry and diagnosed the problem as a faulty gearbox.
